Every project’s value is shown and counted in its own currency

Before a quote is sent, a project’s value is the average of its bids, or its service’s list price. Both now carry the currency they were set in.

  • Bids before any quote. Bids are entered in the customer’s currency, so a project valued at its bid average now reads in that currency on its card. When it differs from the currency your figures report in, the project is left out of the column totals, Service Pipeline Value, Forecast Service Revenue and the customer’s pipeline, and still counted among the projects. It used to be added in as if it were your currency, so a €8,000 bid could show up as £8,000.
  • List prices in the workspace. When a project’s value is its service’s list price, the header and the Overview now show it in the list price’s own currency, as the board card already did. A $5,000 service reads $5,000, not £5,000. Delivered, billed and paid amounts stay in the project’s own currency.

Money is still never converted. If your customers and catalogue all use one currency, nothing changes.
