An SDM releases every approved brief to the bid pool
A customer’s approved requirements document no longer goes straight to experts. It passes three approvals first — the customer’s, a platform review, and an SDM approval that releases it to the bid pool — so every request that reaches an expert has been seen by your delivery team.
What changes for you
- Customers approve their requirements exactly as before. The platform records its review in the same moment, and the request then waits for your SDM to release it. The assistant tells them so: a platform review, then their SDM releases the document to the expert bid pool.
- SDMs see Release to bid pool on the Customer Service Journey of an approved request in backlog. Releasing it opens the request to its matched experts and notifies them. It asks you to confirm, because it cannot be undone. Admins can release a request too.
- Experts see and hear about a request only once it has been released. The experts it matches are still scored when the customer approves, so the shortlist is ready when the SDM releases it.
- Everyone who opens the Requirements section sees the three approvals with who recorded each and when, the request’s required skills and its Service Pipeline Value.
- CSMs keep ownership of the request from the customer’s approval, as before.
- Requests approved before today show both reviews as recorded by the platform on the day the customer approved them. Nothing moves in or out of the bid pool because of it.
