Older quotes and invoices now show the work value too
When the platform stopped adding a 10% service fee, quotes and invoices raised from that point on recorded only the expert’s price. Older ones kept the totals they were issued with, so a customer could still open a quote whose total sat above its amount, with nothing on the record to explain the gap.
Those older quotes and invoices now read the same way as new ones: the total is the amount the expert quoted. The retired fee has been cleared from every record rather than left sitting inside the total.
Because the fee was previously folded into those totals, figures that summarise past work move down by the fee’s share. Vendor revenue, market signals, revenue at risk and customer contract values all shift for older records — nothing was lost, the fee simply no longer inflates them. Records raised since the fee was retired are unchanged.
