Notifications is a grouped inbox you can filter

The notifications page used to be one undated run of rows behind an All / Unread pair of tabs. Fifty entries arrived in a single list, nothing said where one day ended and the next began, and there was no way to ask it a narrower question.

Entries are grouped by the day they arrived. Today, then Yesterday, then the date. Within a day the newest is first, and it stays where it is — marking something read no longer moves it up or down the page, so you can work through a day without the list shifting under you.

Each entry says what it is and where it goes. An icon for its kind, the message itself, the thing it concerns, when it arrived, and a marker while it is unread. Clicking anywhere on it opens what it is about, exactly as before.

Three filters, and they combine. Narrow to unread or to read, to one kind — bids, quotes, invoices, projects, leads, people, messages or service levels — or to a date range, in any combination. The filters live in the address bar, so a filtered view survives a reload and can be sent to someone else as a link.

Mark all read is always in reach. The unread count and the button stay at the top of the page as you scroll, and clearing them takes effect immediately.

Nothing has changed about what you are notified of, or how it reaches you. The bell in the header works exactly as it did.
