Older notifications you loaded stay on the page when it refreshes

The notifications page checks for new entries every 30 seconds, and again when you come back to the tab. Until now, each check dropped everything you had loaded with Load more and took you back to the newest 50 entries, often while you were still reading.

What changes for you

  • Everyone: the older notifications you have loaded stay on the page when it checks for new ones. New entries appear at the top, and Load more picks up where you left off.
  • Entries you have read elsewhere show as read. Under the Unread filter they drop off the list, and the unread count stays accurate.
  • The list still starts again from the newest entries when you change a filter, or when you use Mark all read with a read filter applied. It also starts again if more than a page of new notifications arrived while you were away, so nothing is skipped between them.
