Pay an invoice from your project workspace
Once a manager approves an invoice, it is yours to settle. Until now the only place you could find it was the finances list, which was read-only — so there was nothing to do about a bill you had already been sent.
The invoices section of your project workspace now shows each approved invoice with the milestone it covers, the amount, the due date and its status. A sent invoice carries Pay on its own row, so a project billing two milestones at once settles the one you chose.
Pay records a payment you made outside the platform. No money moves through Sustentus and no card details are captured — this marks the invoice as settled so everyone working on your project can see it has been paid. You are asked to confirm first, because it cannot be undone.
Your invoices list under Finances shows the same state as the workspace, so the two never disagree.
Being told an invoice is waiting
Approving an invoice now notifies you, with a link that opens the project workspace where you can pay it. Recording the payment tells your expert and the managers on your project. These messages were being sent to a recipient that could not exist, so none of them arrived; they do now, and their links open the right project rather than a missing page. The same fix reaches the expert when an invoice of theirs is rejected or disputed.
What has not changed
Drafted and rejected invoices still never appear to you — an invoice reaches you only once a manager has approved it. Paying the last milestone on a project still closes it out and sends your satisfaction survey.
