Chase whoever is actually blocking go-live

Every go-live blocker records the party that has to clear it. Until now, chasing one always sent the message to the customer — even when the blocker plainly said the expert, the vendor or a partner was the one holding things up.

For CSMs

The conversation cards on Go live control now send to the blocker’s owner:

• Expert- or vendor-owned — the message reaches them in the product, and they are notified.
• Partner-owned — partners have no account here, so the card asks for a contact name and email the first time you write, saves them on the blocker, and sends the chase by email. That card reads awaiting reply by email, because a partner has no way to answer in the product.
• Owned by your team — the card still shows the blocker and everything said about it, but offers no composer. You are the team; there is nobody to chase.

Response pending and responded now mean what they say: the card moves only when the party you actually chased replies, not when anyone else happens to post on the thread.

For experts and vendors

Your dashboard has a new Blockers waiting on you section: the open blockers you own on your own projects, what the delivery team last asked, and a box to reply. Answering there is what clears the delivery team’s chase.

Chases and replies share the project’s existing message thread, so there is still one conversation per project rather than a second inbox to keep an eye on.
