Workspace shortcuts only appear when their destination does

Some of the actions in a lead’s workspace are shortcuts: rather than doing something themselves, they move you to the part of the page that does. “Review the bids” and “Go to the bids” both work that way — they take you to the Proposals section, where each bid is accepted or rejected.

Which sections of a workspace you see depends on what you are allowed to view. Until now the two shortcuts above only checked whether you were allowed to decide bids, not whether you were allowed to see them. For everyone on a standard admin, customer success or service delivery setup the two go together, so nothing looked wrong. Tailor someone’s access to one without the other, though, and they were shown a button that quietly went nowhere.

Both checks now apply, and the rule is general: any shortcut that points at a section of the workspace is offered only to someone that section is shown to. Nothing changes for anyone on the standard setup. What changes is that tailoring an individual’s access no longer risks leaving dead controls behind — the workspace shows what a person can actually do, and nothing else.
