Leads that stop now say why
Not every lead reaches delivery, and the six ways one can end have long been part of how the service journey is described: disqualified, abandoned, gone cold, unmatched, no fit, closed lost. Until now the platform recorded only that a lead had been qualified out, with a free-text note beside it. Two leads that ended for completely different reasons looked the same in reporting, and the funnel’s losses section counted sentences rather than outcomes.
Qualifying a lead out now asks which of the six applied. The note stays, and stays optional — it explains the reason rather than standing in for it.
What this means for you
Qualifying a lead out. The dialog asks for a drop-off reason before it will close the lead. Nothing is pre-selected, so the reason recorded is the one you chose. The lead’s workspace and its activity timeline both show it afterwards.
Funnel losses. The vendor dashboard’s drop-off breakdown now groups leads by those six reasons instead of by whatever was typed. A bogus lead and a delivery that failed are no longer the same row, so it is visible whether leads are being lost on the way in or on the way out.
Leads closed before today. They kept no structured reason, and none has been guessed from their notes — they are grouped as Unclassified. The breakdown fills in as leads close from here.
