Revenue at Risk is the value of the customers listed under it
Vendors could read Revenue at Risk as £0 on the Command Centre while the Service Delivery Risks card directly beneath it listed customers with thousands still to deliver. The two figures used different tests for what counts as at risk.
Now there is one rule. Revenue at Risk is the value still to deliver on the projects in flight for every customer Service Delivery Risks flags — the same customers, over the same range, as at the same moment.
- The tile shows how many projects are at risk and what share of Active Service Revenue they carry. Its lines name each project’s customer, the reason that customer is flagged, and the blocker holding the project up.
- The Service Delivery Risks card says “8 of N customers” when more customers are flagged than it lists. Revenue at Risk counts all of them.
- The Revenue at Risk page follows the range you open it with. It states projects at risk, customers, share of Active Service Revenue and overdue work, and walks from Active Service Revenue down to the figure: less the projects not at risk, less what is already delivered on the projects that are.
- Active Service Revenue’s register gives each project its customer’s risk level, with the reasons on hover.
- The KPI dictionary describes Revenue at Risk by the new rule.
