Accept or reject your quote on the project workspace

Once your proposal is accepted, the quote it produced now appears on the project workspace itself, with everything you need to decide on it: the quote reference, the value, the expert who will do the work, the milestone count and the proposal it came from.

Deciding on the quote

While a quote is waiting on you, the Quote section carries Accept quote and Reject quote, and the workspace leads with accepting it as your next best action. Rejecting asks for a reason, and that reason is recorded on the project’s activity feed so everyone working on it knows why. Accepting starts delivery: the expert, your customer success manager and your service delivery manager are all told, and milestone tracking begins.

Once a quote is accepted or rejected, the buttons go and the section shows where the quote ended up.

Finding the quote

You no longer have to go looking for it:

• When a quote is submitted you get a notification that links straight to the project it belongs to.
• Your dashboard points you at a waiting quote rather than telling you there is no active project yet — because the project starts when you accept.
• The request appears under Active in your projects list while its quote is unanswered.

For customer success and service delivery managers

The same Quote section shows you the quote and its current status — submitted, accepted or rejected — on the same workspace your customer is looking at, so the workspace and the Finances quote record agree. Where your endorsement applies, Approve quote sits with it.
