An accepted bid is now final

Winning a bid used to leave its edit form open. An expert could reopen an accepted bid, change its price or dates and save — which quietly put the bid back into review and changed the quote the customer was already holding, with nobody told.

Acceptance now closes the bid. Opening an accepted bid’s edit page shows why it can’t be changed and links back to the bid, and the same refusal applies if the save is attempted directly. The bid, its milestones and its quote stay exactly as they were when the award was made.

Nothing changes for a bid that is still under review: experts edit and resubmit those as before, including while answering a customer’s request for changes.

If something on an awarded bid genuinely has to change, speak to your manager — an accepted bid is no longer yours to edit.
