SDM outreach survives a product rename
Admins can now rename a product without costing the SDM any of their coverage work. This also applies when the change is only capitalisation, such as “sap” to “SAP”.
- Outreach stays put. The action state and the experts messaged that the SDM recorded for a coverage cell stay on that cell under its new name.
- Coverage history reads through the rename. A coverage drill-down whose range starts before the rename compares like with like. Cells no longer show as closed and re-opened just because their product changed its name.
- One cell, one disposition. Recording outreach on a cell whose name differs only in capitalisation updates the disposition already there, never a second copy.
Admins can fix lowercase catalogue names by hand without warning their SDMs first.
