Your SDM area is set by regions and products

The slice of supply you own is now set by regions and products. The platform level that used to sit between your area and its products is gone.

• Same leads and experts: where your area named a platform, it now names the products that sat under it, so My area shows the same leads and experts as before.
• Every product counts: a product with no platform, which is most of them, can now fall inside your area. Its leads and experts show under My area like any other.
• Every card agrees: demand, risks, market signals, expert strength, service performance and the area panel all scope My area the same way.
• Clearer wording: the area panel and the figure definitions describe your area as regions and products. When you own neither, the panel says no area is assigned yet.

The assistant describes your area the same way: the products and regions you own.
