Customers and experts see only their own side of the quote, everywhere
A quote has three figures: the expert’s delivery cost, the platform fee, and the price the customer pays. The vendor side (admins, CSMs, SDMs and the vendor) sees all three. Customers see the price and experts see their cost. We checked every page, email and notification that shows money, and closed the two places where one side could see the other’s figure.
- Experts on the pipeline board. A committed lead’s card, the column totals and the pipeline value tile now show an expert their delivery cost, matching the figure at the top of the lead’s journey. Before, they showed the customer price.
- Customers before their quote is issued. While the quote is still being prepared, the delivery plan shows each milestone with “Quote not issued yet” instead of an amount, and the project’s contract value waits for the issued quote. Once the quote is issued, the customer sees their price as before.
Nothing changes for the vendor side: the board and the quote breakdown read as they did.
