Bid price bands count only bids on leads with a product
A lead with no product belongs to no coverage pool, so the delivery manager’s bid register has only ever listed bids on leads that have one. The average bid price, the bid range and the low, market and high bands above it still counted every bid in the area, including bids on leads with no product. A listed bid could be marked low or high against an average it was never part of.
Now the market signals card, the bid register and the assistant’s market signals answer all read the same bids. The average, the range and each band count only bids on leads with a product, and every bid in the register is banded against that average.
If your area holds bids on leads that are still waiting for a product, the bid count, the average and the band split will be lower or shifted from what you saw before. Those bids come back into the figures once their lead is given a product.
