Notification emails say which lead they are about
A notification email’s subject now reads the same as the notification in the app. Before, the email used a generic line such as “A lead is about to close — its bid deadline is near”; now it reads “Lead #26 closes as unmatched in 24 hours”.
- CSMs and SDMs see the lead number in the subject for assignments, ownership changes, approvals waiting on a CSM, bid deadlines, leads gone quiet and proposal changes, and the button reads “Open lead #26” instead of “View in app”.
- Experts see which lead’s requirements were revised.
- Customers reminded to finish their requirements see the service in the subject: “Your Workday request is waiting on you”.
Every notification email also shows its headline once, and greets you with “Hello” and your name, or just “Hello” when your profile has no name — never your email address.
Subjects only ever carry a request number, a service from the catalogue or a role. Project names, people’s names and lead titles stay inside the app.
