Screen readers now announce every rich-text field by its label

The formatted-text editors — the ones with a bold, italic and list toolbar — were read out by a screen reader as an unnamed editable area. You could type in them, but nothing told you which field you were in. The plain text boxes they replaced did not have that gap.

Each one is now named by the label or heading you see beside it.

What changes for you

  • CSMs, SDMs and admins hear “Overview” when creating a service request, and the field’s own label in the workspace “Edit overview” dialog.
  • Experts hear “Proposal overview” in the proposal form.
  • Customers hear “Description” when raising a new request.

Nothing changes in how the editors look or save.
