Renaming your workspace now changes the name everywhere
Changing the display name under Settings → General used to report success and then leave the old name on screen — in the sidebar, on your dashboard, and everywhere else the workspace is named. The new name was stored, but not where the rest of the platform reads it from, so the only way to correct it was to ask us to rename the workspace for you.
A rename now updates both, in one save. The new name is what you see on the next screen you land on — no sign-out, no waiting for a cache to expire.
Two smaller things come with it. Saving the General tab without touching the display name no longer attempts a rename at all, so a change to your support address or timezone can’t be held up by anything to do with the name. And if a rename is refused, the save stops there: your workspace keeps the name it had, and the rest of the tab is left as it was, rather than half-applied.
If your workspace is currently showing a name you thought you had already changed, renaming it once more will now put it right everywhere.
