Red, amber and green now only mean something

Colour on a screen now carries a meaning. Red still flags a problem, amber something to check and green something done, but nothing uses them for decoration any more.

  • Page headings are neutral. The icon beside each admin and admin settings heading, and on the expert work queue, the customer workspace and a vendor’s customer page, is now grey. Before, it was red, amber, green or blue whether or not anything was wrong.
  • Roles look the same everywhere. The team table on the admin overview and the Users page show roles with the same badges: admins stand out, your own staff are grey, and vendors, experts and customers are outlined. A role is a category, not a status, so it no longer borrows a warning colour.
  • Small labels are larger. Badges, counts, timestamps and table headings that were set below the platform’s smallest text size now use it.
  • Commercial settings show a banknote, not a dollar sign, whatever currency you bill in.
