Notifications open the request they are about

A notification is meant to be a shortcut: something happened on one of your requests, and one click takes you to it. Most of ours did not. Opening them landed on a page that could not be found — for every role, on most of the events worth being told about.

They now open the workspace of the request they are about.

  • Experts — the notification that a customer accepted or rejected your quote opens the request it was raised against.
  • Customer success and service delivery managers — new request, bid submitted, bid revised, bid withdrawn, quote accepted or rejected, and invoice raised all open the request in question, landing you where the next action is.
  • Customers — the notification asking you to rate a completed piece of work opens that request, so you can see what you are rating before you rate it.

Notifications you received before today still carry their old link and will not open. Anything from now on will.
