A bid’s rejection reason is no longer visible to rival bidders
When a manager rejected a bid, the reason they wrote was recorded on the lead’s activity timeline — and every expert bidding on that lead can open that timeline from their own bid page. A competitor could read why someone else’s proposal had been turned down.
That reason is no longer written to the timeline.
If you bid on work, what other experts can see about your bid on the shared timeline is now limited to the fact that it was decided. Your own rejection reason still reaches you, in the notification you receive and on the proposal itself, where it always was.
If you review bids, nothing changes in how you reject one or where your reason is recorded. It simply no longer travels to the other bidders on the lead.
The lead’s timeline still records every step of the lead and still shows the reason a lead was qualified out — that reason is about the lead itself, and is meant for everyone who can see it.
