Every card on the vendor dashboard now opens to the detail behind it

The vendor dashboard’s cards had drifted apart — different shapes, different type sizes, different ways of stating a change — and several of them opened nothing at all. They are back to one consistent design, and every card now leads somewhere.

What you can do now

• Open any card. Every card has a link at the foot of it. A card that states a figure opens the workings behind that figure; a card that states none — the setup prompt, the blockers waiting on you — opens the surface it summarises. Nothing on the dashboard is a dead end any more.
• Set the reporting range once. The header states the range and the exact moment the figures were read, in your own business time zone, for the whole screen. Change the range and the dashboard follows.
• Read what a figure counts, where the figure is. Each card carries its own one-line definition, with the full definition a click away, instead of a row of question marks floating above the section.
• See the movement behind the order book. Active service revenue now states how much it has changed since the start of your range — and that is the same number the order-book page shows when you open it.

Worth knowing

A few figures are worked out over a fixed reporting period rather than the range you pick — customer retention, and revenue at risk. Those cards say on their face which period they cover, so a figure never looks as though it followed a range it did not.
