Active projects now mean projects in delivery

Until now, an account stayed “active” from the day its customer accepted a quote, for ever — even after the project was delivered or closed. A project now leaves the active portfolio when it is delivered, or when it is qualified out. Several figures move with it the first time you open your dashboard, and each now counts what it says.

What changes, by role

CSMs — your portfolio and its health (RAG) bar shrink to the accounts in delivery now, and the go-live rollup’s “at risk now” counts only those. Delivered and closed accounts no longer inflate either.

SDMs — expert SLA adherence on the coverage view now covers work in delivery, awaiting invoicing and awaiting the satisfaction survey. Completed and qualified-out work no longer counts towards it.

Experts — experts who had delivered five or more projects become eligible for new bids again: the limit now counts the projects you are delivering, not every project you ever held. On your workbench, projects awaiting invoicing or the satisfaction survey stay in “Move to completion”. On your figures, the active-projects bridge books a project’s delivery as its exit, and the active-project value counts work in delivery only. The “Active project” badge on a request shows only while it is in delivery.

Vendors — the active-projects count shrinks to work in delivery, and the Top customers “Engagements delivered” column counts engagements that have actually delivered — no longer every project that started.

What has not changed yet

Customers whose project has just been delivered may briefly see “No active project” on their dashboard, and the assistant may describe a finished request as still in progress. Both are being addressed next.
