A customer’s approval now sends their requirements straight to experts
A request used to wait for three sign-offs before any expert saw it: the customer’s approval, a platform review, and an SDM releasing it to the bid pool. Now the customer’s approval is the release.
Customers confirm their requirements in the assistant as before. The moment they do, the request is in the bid pool, and the experts matched to it are told. The request reads With experts straight away.
SDMs no longer have a Release to bid pool step. Their work starts in the bid pool: watching bids, answering expert questions and acting on bid-threshold alerts.
CSMs still approve the quote before the customer sees it — only the route to the experts is shorter.
If the request’s bid deadline has passed or is less than 48 hours away when the customer approves, the deadline moves to seven days after the approval, so experts have time to bid. Requests that were already approved and waiting on an SDM have been released to the bid pool.
