Leads take their customer’s region and country automatically

Where a lead lived used to be filled in only when the request said so. A lead created for an existing customer with no region or country of its own came in blank, and the profile’s location stayed on the customer record.

Now a lead that names a customer inherits the missing fields from that customer’s profile location — the same on every channel: the create form, the spreadsheet import, the customer’s own request, the webhook, and an embedded lead form. If the channel supplies its own value, that value wins.

Catching up later

The rule also reaches back. When a customer’s region or country is set or changed afterwards, that customer’s leads which still have no location pick up the new values automatically, with each change recorded on the lead’s trail. A lead that already carries its own region and country is left alone.
