One accepted bid per lead, guaranteed

Accepting a bid has always been refused on a lead that already has a winner. That refusal ran as a check just before the award was saved, which left a narrow window: two people accepting different bids on the same lead at the same moment could both pass the check and both save. The lead ended up with two accepted bids — two quotes sent to the customer, two experts told they had won, and the lead’s expert decided by whichever save happened to land last.

The rule is now held by the database itself, so only one of those two saves can succeed. The other is refused with the same message it would have shown a moment later: the lead has already been awarded to another bid. Nothing changes for a normal award, and no existing bid, quote or invoice is affected.
